Georgian Peach

It’s sipping season, y’all! This seasonal sipping lemonade will bring all the boys and girls back to your yard for seconds and thirds.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Jack Daniel’s Rye Whiskey

  • 1 oz Aperol or a similar bitter or aperitivo like Campari

  • 1 oz *Herbed Simple Syrup (herbed, it’s Georgia y’all…it’ll be a while)

  • 2 ea 1/8th Peach slices

  • 1 oz Fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 dash 18.21 ginger lemon tincture

  • 2 ea Lemon rounds

  • 1 ea Rosemary sprig (grab your blow torch and give the sprig a little torching, seriously it smells good)

Glassware: 

Collins or Pint Glass

Directions:

Muddle one peach, one lemon round with 1 oz herbed simple syrup in a Boston shaker.  Add the rye whiskey, lemon juice and ice, shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass, float the Aperol over the top of the ice, and garnish with a lemon round, slice of peach and a sprig of rosemary. 

Directions:

*Herbed Simple: Bring 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups White Sugar 

  • Fresh Herbs (Spirits and Provisions likes rosemary, mint, basil)

  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Directions:

Bring water to a boil, add 2 cups of sugar stirring to dissolve. Add 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 6 basil leaves, 5 sprigs of mint, ¼ tsp of black pepper (or pick your own shit, ya hear?).  Let steep for one hour, then strain and chill. Good for 2 weeks.
